The problem is it leans so hard on the same slow-burn formula that the middle can feel like a long wait for bangs, bumps, and familiar escalation rather than a story that surprises you. If you need fresh mythology, inventive set pieces, or a faster pace, this one may test your patience and feel a bit like a reheated sequel.
