These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Amaree mobile application ("App") operated by Amaree Inc ("we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
01Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
02Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your profile. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
03How the App Works
Amaree generates personalized movie predictions based on your ratings and reactions. These predictions are algorithmic estimates — not guarantees. Prediction accuracy varies and improves as you provide more feedback. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any prediction, recommendation, or explanation provided by the App.
04Subscriptions
Certain features of the App require a paid subscription ("Amaree Pro"). Subscriptions are billed through Apple and managed by your Apple ID. By subscribing, you agree to the pricing and payment terms presented at the time of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings under your Apple ID. We do not process payments directly. All billing inquiries should be directed to Apple.
05Your Content
"Your Content" includes your ratings, reactions, profile information, and any other data you submit through the App. You retain ownership of Your Content. By using the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use Your Content solely to operate, improve, and provide the App's services to you. We may use anonymized, aggregated data derived from Your Content to improve the App. Such data will not identify you personally.
06Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- —Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- —Attempt to access another user's account
- —Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
- —Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure
- —Use automated tools to access the App or its data
- —Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person
07Third-Party Data
The App displays movie information sourced from The Movie Database (TMDB) and streaming availability data from JustWatch. This content is provided for informational purposes. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of third-party data, including movie metadata, streaming availability, or provider information.
08Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, algorithms, and branding, is owned by Amaree Inc and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the App as described here.
09Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen within the App. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, ratings, reactions, predictions, and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.
10Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
11Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Amaree Inc shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from or related to your use of the App, regardless of the theory of liability.
12Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App and require your acceptance before you can continue using the App. Your continued use after accepting updated Terms constitutes your agreement to the revised Terms.
13Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
14Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
