Your algorithm evolves with you — your taste changes, and it needs to keep up. Freshness is how the algorithm stays accurate and relevant. Each rating or reaction earns one day, and you can carry up to 100 days. If it goes stale, it deactivates — not as a penalty, but because an outdated algorithm isn't one you should trust.
