Sajedeh Saraei
Sajedeh Saraei is an Iranian film producer and the founder of Highlight Screen, an independent production and distribution company based in Iran. Her work focuses on supporting emerging filmmakers and developing auteur-driven films with strong human, social and cultural perspectives.

As a producer, Sajedeh has worked with independent Iranian filmmakers across fiction and documentary projects, with a particular interest in stories exploring women, children, identity, displacement and social change. Alongside production, she has developed experience in international distribution and in presenting Iranian films and filmmakers to international festivals and markets.
She is a Berlinale Talents 2025 alumna and has been actively developing international professional networks and co-production partnerships across Europe. Her current projects include Inseparable, a short fiction film developed as an Iran–Sweden co-production, and MOM MA, a feature film in development.
Through Highlight Screen, Sajedeh is currently expanding from an Iran-focused production and distribution practice toward long-term international co-production, while continuing to support distinctive voices from the region and connect them with international partners and audiences.
