Shetty made her feature-film debut as Reena Desai opposite Yash in Prashanth Neel's period action film *K.G.F: Chapter 1* (2018), earning nominations for the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South and the SIIMA Award for Best Female Debut – Kannada. In 2022, she reprised the role in *K.G.F: Chapter 2* and won the SIIMA Award for Best Actress – Kannada. The same year, she made her Tamil debut as criminology professor Bhavana Menon in R. Ajay Gnanamuthu's psychological action thriller *Cobra* (2022), opposite Vikram.
Shetty made her Telugu debut as ASP Mrudula IPS in Sailesh Kolanu's investigative action thriller *HIT: The Third Case* (2025), opposite Nani.
