Rolando Aguilar Ricketson (11 October 1903 – 4 December 1984) was a Mexican film director and screenwriter. Born in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico. He spent his early years in Mexico before moving to the United States to continue his education, where exposure to Hollywood inspired him to pursue a career in filmmaking. After returning to Mexico, Aguilar began his filmmaking career in 1935 by directing several short films before making his feature directorial debut with Madres del mundo (1936).

Over the following decades, Aguilar directed numerous films across a variety of genres, including Los millones de Chaflán (1938). In addition to directing, he worked as a screenwriter. A founding member of the Unión de Directores Cinematográficos de México, he also became the first secretary-general of the Directors' Section of the STPC in 1945. He died in Mexico City, Mexico, on 4 December 1984.
