He first gained recognition in local theatrical works and later rose to national stardom through his collaborations in commercial cinema with director Charlie Nguyen. Noted for his versatility and adaptability, he is a three-times Golden Kite winner, and often regarded as one of the finest Vietnamese actors of his generation.
