In the mid to late 2000s, he was part of the creative teams behind the opening title sequences for The Grid and True Blood as a title designer and editor, respectively. As a filmmaker, he is best known for his work in the extreme cinema subgenre under the pseudonym Lucifer Valentine, including the surrealist exploitation horror film Slaughtered Vomit Dolls and its sequels.
As a musician, he was the guitarist, vocalist, and co-founder of the Winnipeg-based noise rock band Kittens. The band was originally active from 1992 to 1998 and performed two reunion shows in 2006.
