Untouchable is clearly trying to lay out, in a straightforward and sober way, how Weinstein built a system that protected him for years, and it gives space to colleagues and accusers to explain the human cost. The problem is that if you’ve followed the reporting even casually, much of this will feel like a recap rather than a revelation, with points reiterated until the impact starts to dull. It’s competently assembled and undeniably important subject matter, but the presentation isn’t especially fresh or probing, so it can come off more dutiful than illuminating.
