10 Minutes Gone has the lean, back-against-the-wall urgency of a good pulp thriller: a botched heist, a missing haul, and a hero who can’t even trust his own memory as the clock keeps tightening. Brian A. Miller keeps the pace brisk and the vibe gritty, letting the story play like a series of tense confrontations where every conversation feels like a potential ambush. Michael Chiklis brings a bruised, stubborn intensity to Frank’s scramble for answers, while Bruce Willis’ crime-boss presence adds a cold, transactional menace that hangs over every choice. It’s not a deep character study and it doesn’t reinvent the genre, but if you want a compact, no-frills crime mystery with action jolts, hard edges, and a simple hook that keeps pulling you forward, it’s an easy watch.

10 Minutes Gone is trying to be a lean, pulpy whodunit heist thriller where a battered pro retraces the job step by step and exposes the rat before the boss has him erased. The problem is the execution: the writing leans hard on clichés, the editing feels choppy, and the mystery never builds real tension because the characters and twists land with a thud. Bruce Willis is more “shows up” than “shows up to play,” and the whole thing has that low-rent, going-through-the-motions vibe that makes 90 minutes feel longer.
