The Blackout (2019)

The Blackout feels like a rare kind of sci-fi thriller: big, bold, and genuinely imaginative, taking an apocalyptic premise and turning it into a tense mystery with blockbuster muscle. What makes it special is the way it marries striking, Hollywood-level visuals to an anxious, end-of-the-world atmosphere—every excursion beyond the surviving “ring” plays like a descent into the unknown.
