Rumble is the kind of family movie that takes a delightfully goofy premise—monster wrestling as a worldwide sport—and commits to it with such bright, bouncy confidence that you can’t help but get swept up in the showmanship. Beneath the slam-dunk spectacle is a surprisingly sweet underdog story, as a determined teen coach and her lovable, self-doubting monster discover that winning isn’t just about strength, it’s about finding your own rhythm (sometimes literally). The animation leans into big personalities and bigger arenas, the jokes stay PG and playful, and the whole thing moves with the pep of a sports-comedy crowd-pleaser.
