Christian Clavier is a delight as a sensible, middle-aged podiatrist dropped into an island that runs on bass, temptation, and sleepless nights, and the film smartly gives everyone—mom, teens, and reluctant stepdad-in-training—a chance to be ridiculous and oddly relatable. The vibe is breezy, raunchy, and constantly in motion, the kind of crowd-pleaser that doesn’t pretend to be deep but still finds a warm, surprising rhythm in the mess. It’s not for viewers who want a clean, wholesome comedy, but if you’re game for a sex-and-drugs vacation farce with strong character work and steady laughs, this one rarely sits still long enough to bore you.

Ibiza is aiming for a sun-soaked, culture-clash comedy where a stiff, middle-aged guy gets dragged into a teens-and-DJs party hurricane and somehow bonds with his new would-be family. The problem is it often feels like it’s running on preset vacation-comedy settings: predictable misunderstandings, familiar raunchy beats, and not enough genuinely sharp jokes to justify the “wild” premise.
