Explained

What people think about Good Boys

Good Boys is that rare raunchy comedy with a real pulse: it’s outrageously funny, yes, but it also captures the panic and wonder of being 12 and realizing the world is suddenly moving faster than you are. Gene Stupnitsky lets Jacob Tremblay, Keith L. Williams, and Brady Noon play their friendship with such earnestness that even the most ridiculous misadventures feel grounded in something sweet and recognizably true. The vibe is a gleeful, slightly chaotic suburban odyssey—one long day of escalating trouble, big feelings, and kids trying to act older while still being unmistakably kids. Fair warning: it’s very R-rated and proudly crude, so it won’t be for everyone, but if you can handle the language and the shock humor, you’ll find a surprisingly warm coming-of-age story tucked inside the mayhem.
