It’s an observational comedy disguised as a “documentary,” lingering on toasters toasting and grass growing with such calm seriousness that the absurdity sneaks up on you and becomes genuinely funny. The vibe is oddly relaxing—like channel-surfing into a parody of prestige TV and realizing the joke is as much about us as it is about what’s on screen. It’s not for everyone if you need a fast plot or big laughs, but if you’re in the mood for something charmingly dumb and genially moronic, it’s a delightful little time capsule of Netflix’s willingness to get weird.
