The Intruder (2019)

Dennis Quaid is the secret weapon: he plays the former owner with such folksy charm and simmering instability that every smile feels like a warning, and the film knows exactly how to milk that unease without drowning in gore. Deon Taylor keeps the vibe glossy and tense, letting the wide-open beauty of Napa Valley become a stage for claustrophobic paranoia as the couple realizes “welcome to the neighborhood” can curdle into something far darker.
