When it finally commits to full-on found-footage terror, the movie delivers a sharp, memorable climax that’s more about helpless awe than cheap gore. Phoenix Forgotten is clearly trying to turn the real-life “Phoenix Lights” mystery into a grounded, found-footage descent into paranoia, and the setup has an appealing, eerie plausibility.
