Explained

What people think about Batman vs. Two-Face

Batman vs. Two-Face is a warm, wonderfully shameless return to the candy-colored, straight-facedly silly universe of the 1960s Batman—made special by the fact that it feels like a genuine final curtain call for Adam West, delivered with that same droll, heroic sincerity that made him iconic. The animation leans into the era’s pop-art snap, the jokes land with a wink instead of a shove, and the movie’s real secret weapon is the voice work: West and Burt Ward slide back into their roles like old friends, while William Shatner turns Harvey Dent into a grand, theatrical menace who’s having just as much fun as we are. It’s light on brooding and heavy on affectionate camp, with fan-pleasing nods that never require homework—though if you want your Batman grim and grounded, this sunny slice of Bat-nostalgia may not be your flavor. For everyone else, it’s a brisk, charming, surprisingly heartfelt ride that remembers superhero stories can be delightful.
