Explained

What people think about #realityhigh

#realityhigh is a bright, surprisingly sweet teen comedy that knows exactly how ridiculous online popularity can be—and still treats its characters like real people with real feelings. It’s got a sharp, sarcastic sense of humor about influencers, cliques, and the performative chaos of high school, but it never turns mean-spirited; beneath the jokes is an earnest warmth about friendship, self-respect, and figuring out who you are when everyone’s watching. Nesta Cooper makes Dani easy to root for as she gets pulled into a glossy SoCal social-media orbit that’s equal parts tempting and exhausting, and the movie keeps the vibe breezy and watchable without pretending the stakes don’t sting. If you want a deep, edgy satire, this may feel a little too gentle, but if you’re in the mood for a funny, heartfelt crowd-pleaser with a modern teen pulse, it’s an easy yes.
