Tunnel is clearly aiming for a tense, human-scale survival thriller while also taking a swipe at bureaucracy, media pressure, and how quickly public sympathy can curdle. The problem is it doesn’t always know when to stop: the story can feel stretched for its runtime, and some turns land as predictable rather than devastating.
