Director Mo Hong-jin keeps the tension coiled tight, threading grief, obsession, and dread through a cat-and-mouse atmosphere where every encounter feels loaded, and the performances (especially Shim Eun-kyung’s simmering intensity and Yoon Je-moon’s dogged weariness) give the suspense real emotional weight. It’s brisk, nasty in the way good thrillers can be, and confident enough to take turns that feel unsettling rather than tidy, building toward a finale that lingers.
