Per Fly directs with a cool, procedural confidence, letting the corridors of the U.N. feel as ominous as any back alley, while Theo James makes the young diplomat’s awakening believable and increasingly urgent. The real magnet, though, is Ben Kingsley: charming, formidable, and unreadable in a way that keeps you leaning forward, always recalibrating what you think you know. It’s talky and detail-rich rather than action-driven, and there’s some sexual content, but if you like smart, well-crafted dramas where the danger comes from power, compromise, and what people choose to ignore, this one sticks with you.
