Olivier Baroux keeps the pace brisk and the tone buoyant, mixing fish-out-of-water gags with a surprisingly warm streak about pride, class, and the exhausting performance of trying to “fit in.” Jean‑Paul Rouve and Isabelle Nanty play Jeff and Cathy as cartoonish in the best way—big personalities, bigger hearts—so even when the jokes get broad, the movie’s goodwill carries you along.
