Range 15 (2016)
A group of veterans wake up after a night of partying to find out that the zombie apocalypse has spread across the United States. Together, they must fight their way across the country in order to find a cure for the outbreak and restore freedom before it's too late.
What people think about Range 15
Range 15 is a zombie movie with a pulse of its own: it doesn’t just crack jokes at the apocalypse, it charges straight through it with the kind of dark, filthy camaraderie that feels lived-in rather than written. The tone is gleefully unfiltered—brutal, loud, and weirdly heartfelt—built around veterans who treat the end of the world like the world’s worst hangover and the world’s best excuse to lean on each other. If you’re tired of zombie films that play it safe, this one swings for the fences with offensive humor and scrappy, kickass energy that makes the mayhem feel personal. It’s not for anyone who wants polite comedy or tasteful restraint, but if you can handle the edge, you’ll find a surprisingly sincere bond at the center of the blood and bad decisions.
Range 15 is clearly aiming for a loud, raunchy, pro-veteran zombie romp that treats the apocalypse like an excuse for crude jokes and chaotic camaraderie. The problem is the execution: the acting is rough, the effects look bargain-bin, and the comedy leans heavily into juvenile, intentionally offensive bits that can feel less edgy than exhausting. If you’re expecting clever horror-comedy, tight pacing, or even halfway convincing zombie thrills, this will likely feel like a low-effort stunt stretched to feature length. The only real upside is that a few viewers may enjoy the “friends messing around” energy and the novelty of seeing veterans in the spotlight, but it’s very much for people with an extremely high tolerance for cheap filmmaking and tasteless humor.
