Kim Myung-min’s detective is equal parts brilliant and eccentric, and his banter with Oh Dal-su’s streetwise partner gives the movie a buddy-cop snap that keeps the mystery light on its feet even when the stakes turn serious. The film’s real charm is its sense of momentum—clues, chases, and comic reversals arrive with confident rhythm—while Lee Yeon-hee brings a poised, mysterious energy that deepens the puzzle without bogging it down.
