Moritz Bleibtreu brings real urgency and bruised humanity to the coroner at the center, while Jasna Fritzi Bauer makes the island-side ordeal feel lived-in rather than merely convenient, so the tension lands instead of just escalating. It does veer into pulpy, “can you believe this?” territory at times, but if you’re in the mood for a polished, twisty, relentlessly paced crime-horror mystery, it’s an absorbing page-turner you’ll be glad you pressed play on.
