The problem is it starts as a light, goofy comedy and then swerves hard into a long, lecture-y political drama, so the pacing drags and the entertainment-to-runtime ratio isn’t great. If you’re coming for consistent spooky fun and laughs, the second half may feel like the movie is scolding you instead of charming you. Still, Amitabh Bachchan’s warmth and the kid-ghost friendship have enough heart to work if you’re okay with a message-heavy tone and a more serious finish.
