Citizen Vigilante is the kind of pulpy, provocative thriller that dares you to squirm while it keeps you riveted—an angry, neon-lit descent into what happens when “justice” becomes a brand. Uwe Boll leans into the discomfort with a brisk, never-boring momentum, and Armie Hammer gives Sanders a chilling mix of intelligence, damage, and charisma that makes the character as watchable as he is alarming. The Zagreb backdrop and the Interpol pursuit add an international, cat-and-mouse snap, while the film’s real hook is how it toys with your instincts to cheer and recoil in the same breath. Fair warning: the sex and gore are blunt and often gratuitous, so if you want a tasteful crime mystery this isn’t it—but if you’re up for something aggressive, engaging, and hard to shake, it delivers.
