Boyd Holbrook gives Mo a grounded decency that makes every small step toward normalcy feel hard-won, while Elisabeth Moss brings a raw, unpredictable ache to Doris that keeps you leaning in, unsure whether she’s reaching for salvation or self-destruction. Director Jason Lew keeps the tone tense but tender, finding real humanity in questions of guilt, innocence, and what “second chances” actually cost.
