Director Agustin keeps the tension tight and the moral questions sharper, letting the drama come from procedure, pressure, and the uneasy feeling that the “right” story is often the one people choose to manufacture. With Mena Suvari bringing steel to the pursuit of truth and Martin Sheen lending gravitas to the chain-of-command fallout, it plays like a gritty, adult thriller that’s more interested in consequences than easy catharsis. It’s not for everyone—there’s early explicit nudity and some disturbing misconduct—but if you want a crime drama that stares into corruption without blinking, this one is hard to shake.
