I Am Wrath (2016)

I Am Wrath is the kind of lean, old-school revenge thriller that knows exactly what it’s selling: John Travolta as a grieving husband who stops asking the system for help and starts pushing back with grim purpose. What makes it more fun than the premise suggests is the loose, lived-in chemistry between Travolta and Christopher Meloni, whose barbed camaraderie gives the movie a pulse and a few welcome breaths of personality amid the mayhem.
