Aubrey Plaza brings her trademark electric edge, Chris Evans has a blast with the film’s slippery charm, and the whole thing hums with memorable characters and a sleazy-funny swagger. Fair warning: it’s proudly raunchy and violent, so if explicit sex, graphic nudity, and strong language aren’t your speed, this won’t convert you—but if you want energetic, twisted fun with style to spare, it’s a terrific ride.

The problem is the case itself feels flimsy: the plot wanders, the red herrings pile up, and the pacing can make it seem like scenes are happening because they’re “fun” rather than because they build to a satisfying reveal. If you’re coming for a tight crime puzzle or any real emotional weight, this may leave you cold, especially given the heavy content (graphic nudity, explicit sex, strong language, and murders) that can feel louder than the story.
