It’s leaner and more consistent than the first film, moving fast enough that even if one segment doesn’t land for you, another will arrive seconds later with a fresh jolt of surprise. Fair warning: this is extreme, sometimes disturbing stuff (including violence involving children), so it’s not for the squeamish—but if you like your horror daring, global, and unpredictable, it’s a blast.

When it works, it’s impressively inventive, with a few segments showing real craft and a welcome variety of styles (animation, creature work, pitch-black comedy) that keep the energy moving. But the format is still a gimmick: the quality swings wildly, a lot of entries feel like one-joke sketches that end just as they start, and the “anything goes” attitude means some material lands as edgy-for-edgy’s-sake rather than actually scary or smart. If you don’t enjoy extreme gore, disturbing imagery (including child endangerment), or you need a coherent story and consistent tone, this will feel like a noisy roulette wheel rather than a satisfying horror film.
