Good Fortune feels like the kind of high-concept comedy that actually has a pulse: a fantasy premise used not for empty whimsy, but to poke at modern hustle culture and wealth with wit and surprising tenderness. Aziz Ansari directs with a light touch and a sharp eye for the absurd, letting the laughs land while the social observations sneak up on you, and Keanu Reeves is a genuine delight as Gabriel—sweetly misguided, impeccably timed, and funnier than you may expect. Seth Rogen rounds out the ensemble with the kind of grounded, human chaos that keeps the film buoyant even when it’s making a point.
