The problem is it often plays like a checklist of genre beats rather than a story with its own personality, and the pacing tends to sputter once the initial adrenaline rush wears off. If you’re hoping for sharp plotting, memorable set pieces, or a remake that feels specifically built around Mackie and Grillo, you may find it generic and oddly forgettable.
