Explained

What people think about Taken 3

Taken 3 is the kind of lean, pulpy thriller that knows exactly what you came for: Liam Neeson’s granite-jawed charisma, a ticking-clock manhunt, and the satisfying snap of a veteran action star turning Los Angeles into his personal chessboard. Instead of another globe-trotting rescue, it plays like a fugitive story with bruised emotions underneath, pitting Bryan Mills against a sharp, relentless investigator and forcing him to improvise as the net tightens. Olivier Megaton keeps the pace brisk and the vibe gritty and street-level, with car chases, close-quarters scuffles, and that familiar “particular set of skills” confidence powering the ride. It’s not the most elegant chapter in the series, and if you’re allergic to loud, straightforward action logic you may roll your eyes—but if you want a fast, unapologetically entertaining Neeson vehicle, it delivers the goods.
