Doomsday Book is clearly aiming to be a smart, genre-hopping anthology that mixes apocalypse spectacle with big questions about humanity, faith, and technology. The problem is it feels like three different movies fighting for your attention, with wildly uneven tone and execution—one segment may click for you while another feels thin, preachy, or oddly flat. If you want a cohesive sci-fi story with a consistent emotional arc, this can come off as a mixed bag that never fully lands its philosophical punches.
