André van Duren directs with a cool, coastal unease—sunlit streets and quiet rooms that somehow feel like traps—while Bracha van Doesburgh anchors the film with a performance that’s sharp, vulnerable, and steadily more desperate as the lies stop being convenient and start being dangerous. The movie’s real pleasure is how it sustains tension scene by scene, letting glances, text messages, and missing time feel as ominous as any weapon, all while keeping the mystery moving at a brisk, entertaining clip. It won’t be for everyone if you dislike stories steeped in infidelity and morally messy choices, but if you want a twisty, well-acted suspense ride that keeps you guessing without feeling gimmicky, this one earns your attention.
