Tekken: Blood Vengeance is clearly trying to be a slick, fan-pleasing bridge between the games, packing in Mishima drama, secret conspiracies, and lots of flashy martial-arts spectacle. The problem is the story feels thin and oddly stitched together, with pacing that lurches from “setup” to “what on earth is happening now,” which can make the whole thing feel more ridiculous than thrilling. If you’re not already invested in Tekken lore and characters, you may find it boring or confusing rather than exciting. That said, the CGI animation and fight choreography do deliver occasional bursts of fun, so it works best as a visual side-dish for fans, not a satisfying standalone movie.
