Neighbors (2014)

Neighbors is that rare studio comedy that’s not just loud, but sharply engineered: it turns a simple suburban setup into a comic pressure cooker with real momentum and surprisingly relatable nerves about growing up. Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne play new-parent exhaustion with a warm, lived-in chemistry, while Zac Efron weaponizes his movie-star charm into a genuinely funny antagonist, making the clash feel like a battle between two life stages rather than just a noise complaint.
