Explained

What people think about Pyaar Ka Punchnama

Pyaar Ka Punchnama feels special because it captures the messy, maddening comedy of modern dating with the snap and swagger of a buddy film—three roommates in Delhi bouncing off each other like a lived-in rhythm section while romance keeps throwing them off-beat. Luv Ranjan keeps the vibe youthful and contemporary, letting the humor come from recognizably petty arguments, bruised egos, and the slow realization that “compromise” can start to look a lot like surrender. It’s funny and energetic in a way that makes the runtime fly, powered by Kartik Aaryan and a cast that sells both the camaraderie and the exasperation without turning it into a lecture. That said, it’s not for everyone: the film leans hard into a very male, venting perspective on relationships, but if you’re in the mood for a fresh, crowd-pleasing rom-com with bite and big laughs, it’s an easy pick.
