Explained

What people think about Chloe and Theo

Chloe and Theo is special because it smuggles a big, urgent idea—our responsibility to the planet—into a small, human story that feels gentle, funny, and unexpectedly moving. Set against the everyday grind of New York streets, it pairs a scrappy survivor in Chloe with Theo, a quietly magnetic Inuit messenger whose wisdom lands less like a lecture and more like an invitation to remember what matters. The film’s charm comes from its offbeat sincerity and the way it lets hope, awkwardness, and compassion share the same frame, anchored by Theo Ikummaq’s disarming presence. If you’re looking for a sleek, hard-hitting climate thriller, this isn’t that; but if you want a heartfelt, thought-provoking fable that leaves you a little lighter and a little more awake, it’s worth your time.
