Think Like a Man is at its best when it turns the messy, unspoken negotiations of dating into a spirited battle of wits, powered by an ensemble that actually feels like a group of friends you’d want to hang out with. Tim Story keeps the pace snappy and the tone buoyant, letting the comedy land while still giving the romance enough warmth to make you root for these couples even when they’re being ridiculous. Watching the men scramble once they realize the “rulebook” is in play is pure crowd-pleaser fun, with performers like Michael Ealy and Meagan Good bringing just enough sincerity to keep it from becoming mean-spirited. It’s definitely broad and a bit raunchy at times, so if crude humor isn’t your thing it may not click—but if you want a charming, modern rom-com with plenty of laughs and a cast that commits, it’s an easy yes.
