Kelly Halihan keeps the vibe lean and punchy—more neon-streaked revenge ride than slow-burn gothic—and Sean Maguire’s Thorn brings a relishably ruthless edge that begs to be toppled. If you want a thoughtful, lore-heavy vampire epic, this isn’t that, but if you’re craving a brisk, crowd-pleasing horror-action romp with attitude and catharsis, it’s an easy yes.
