Knock at the Cabin is clearly aiming for a tense, morally brutal chamber thriller that asks big questions about faith, sacrifice, and what you’d do when the world might be ending. The problem is the script leans so hard on repeating the same dilemma and explaining itself that the suspense can start to feel like it’s circling the drain, and the logic doesn’t always hold up if you’re the type to poke at plot mechanics. It’s also less “scary horror” and more grim, talky pressure-cooker drama, with thinly sketched intruders that may read as symbols rather than fully satisfying characters.
