The problem is the film tries to cram in everything at once—sci‑fi concept, comedy, grief, romance, and nonstop action—so the tone whiplashes and the story often runs on “because the movie says so” logic rather than anything that feels earned. If you need tight writing, consistent stakes, or a villain/hero dynamic that makes coherent sense, this can feel loud, messy, and weirdly hollow despite the spectacle.
