Shattered wants to be a sleek, modern erotic home-invasion thriller where wealth, isolation, and “smart” security become a trap, and on paper that’s a solid hook. In practice, the movie leans hard on contrived decisions and lumpy plotting, so the tension often feels forced instead of earned, and the twists play more like checkboxes than shocks. Cameron Monaghan and Frank Grillo bring some intensity, and the Montana setting plus the high-tech house give it a glossy surface, but the performances and logic gaps can make it tough to stay invested.
