Clare Niederpruem keeps the tone breezy and buoyant, letting the City of Light do its magic while Mallory Jansen brings a crisp, modern spark to Victoria—competent, a little rattled, and very human beneath the polished exterior. Joshua Sasse is effortlessly winsome as Jacques, and their chemistry leans more sweetly sincere than overly syrupy, making the flirtation feel earned even as the story stays comfortingly familiar. If you’re in the mood for a cozy TV-movie romance with playful wedding-pageantry energy and just enough emotional honesty to keep it from feeling disposable, this one delivers; if you need sharp-edged comedy or big surprises, you may find it more like a warm croissant than a full banquet.
