Act Naturally takes a premise that could’ve been a cheap punchline—two estranged stepsisters inheriting a nudist resort—and turns it into a surprisingly warm, character-driven comedy-drama about embarrassment, grief, and the awkward work of becoming family again. The humor comes less from leering and more from the delicious discomfort of two very different women trying to keep their dignity while the world around them insists on radical honesty, inside and out.
