The vibe is warm, funny in an everyday way, and full of sunlit bustle—animals, oddball coworkers, and the kind of hope you earn rather than buy—while still making room for real sadness. It does lean sentimental and includes a few emotional gut-punches (including an animal-related one), so it’s not for everyone, but if you’re on the fence and want something humane that leaves you lighter than it found you, this one delivers.
